Job Description

Role & responsibilities 1.1 Translate market needs, VOC (Voice of the Customer) into product specifications and define NPD projects. 1.2 Supervise delivery of projects on agreed time, costs and quality. 1.3 Identify and ensure elimination of inefficiencies in current moulds 1.4 Guide the team in technical matters such as value engineering, conducting analysis and studies, trouble shooting related to NPD and existing processes 2.1 Implement new / appropriate potential technologies related to polymer materials 2.2 Manage and continuously improve NPD process. 2.3 Improve effectiveness of all employees through competency based training and engagement improvement activities 3.1 Coach section heads and build their leadership capabilities 3.2 Be a knowledge repository on mould design, manufacture and maintenance Functional competency & Behavioral competency Product Design & verification Communication Mould design Interpersonal relationship Mould manufacturing Rigour in execution Mould maintenance Personal Leadership Polymer Science People leadership Injection moulding process Emotional Intelligence Painting process Customer centricity Joining& Assembly Business Acumen Quality Assurance Managing & Leading change Preferred candidate profile
