RA/SRA/LA - U.S. Tax Support

As a Tax Analyst, you will play a crucial role in supporting tax compliance and advisory needs. Your responsibilities will include: - Researching macro/market trends to identify themes and sub-sectors for investment mandates. - Assisting with quarterly tax provision calculations in compliance with ASC 740 (Accounting for Income Taxes, US GAAP). - Supporting the preparation of federal and state income tax returns, including compliance workpapers. - Conducting U.S. federal, state, and local tax law research to meet compliance and advisory requirements. - Performing state apportionment calculations and ensuring accuracy of supporting documentation. - Preparing and assisting with local tax returns (e.g., business & occupation tax, business license renewals, sales & use tax) and conducting local tax research. - Contributing to ad hoc projects related to corporate tax compliance, reporting, and research. Qualifications required for this role: - Education: Bachelor's degree in accounting, Finance, Commerce, or related field (CA/CPA is an advantage). - Technical Knowledge: Good understanding of U.S. GAAP/IFRS and federal/state tax compliance concepts. - Analytical Skills: Strong attention to detail with the ability to analyze numerical data and prepare reconciliations. - Research Ability: Capability to interpret and apply U.S. tax laws/regulations in practical scenarios. - Tools & Technology: Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, Word, PowerPoint; familiarity with tax preparation software is a plus. - Communication: Strong written and verbal communication skills for effective coordination with team members and clients. - Attributes: Proactive, deadline-driven, and able to handle multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment.,
