Assam Cancer Care Foundation (ACCF) is a collaborative initiative between the Government of Assam and Tata Trusts, aimed at establishing the largest three-tiered cancer care network in South Asia. ACCF is setting up 17 cancer care hospitals across different districts of Assam to provide accessible, affordable cancer care. Currently, nine hospitals, including the apex center at State Cancer Institute in Guwahati, are operational, with seven more under construction. ACCF offers world-class cancer care with cashless treatment under prominent healthcare schemes and ensures affordability by capping rates at CGHS rates. The initiative incorporates a Digital Nerve Centre (DiNC) to connect the hospital network for efficient and virtual care delivery.

Role Description

This is a full-time on-site role for a Radiation Oncologist based in Dibrugarh East. The Radiation Oncologist will be responsible for diagnosing and treating cancer patients using radiation therapy, as well as conducting stereotactic radiosurgery. Day-to-day tasks include patient consultations, planning and supervising treatments, coordinating with a multidisciplinary team, and engaging in continuous learning and professional development.

Qualifications

• Expertise in Medicine and Cancer Treatment

• Board certification in Radiation Oncology
