Quantity Surveyor & Billing Engineer (Interior & Civil)

As a Quantity Surveyor at our company, your main role will involve performing various tasks related to bill preparation, quantity surveying, site verification, rate analysis, contract management, vendor & subcontractor management, material reconciliation, reporting & documentation, and coordination. Here are the key responsibilities you will be expected to handle: - Create and submit running account (RA) bills, subcontractor bills, and final bills for various interior and MEP works. - Conduct quantity take-offs from engineering drawings and site measurements to prepare accurate Bill of Quantities (BOQs). - Perform site visits to verify quantities of work completed and to resolve any discrepancies between drawings and actual work. - Assist in analyzing and applying rates for labor, materials, and overheads as per market rates and project specifications. - Ensure all billing activities comply with project contracts, work orders, and relevant standards. - Verify and process invoices from subcontractors and vendors, ensuring compliance with contractual terms. - Track and reconcile the consumption of major materials with material received to prevent wastage and ensure proper recovery. - Maintain detailed records of all billing activities, generate MIS reports on project costs and billing status, and maintain billing logs. - Liaise with project managers, site engineers, clients, and consultants to ensure accurate billing and timely bill approvals.
