Job Description for Engineer Quantity Survey (Civil):
Job Title: Engineer – Quantity Survey (Civil)
Location: Bangalore
Experience: 4-5 Years
Qualification: B.E / B.Tech in Civil Engineering
Job Responsibilities:
Prepare, review, and verify quantities based on drawings, BOQs, and site measurements.
Conduct detailed quantity take-offs for civil works and validate contractor bills.
Prepare cost estimates, rate analysis, and budget forecasts for projects.
Coordinate with site teams for measurement verification and progress tracking.
Prepare and maintain documentation such as change orders, deviations, and reconciliation statements.
Support contract management, including checking compliance with scope, specifications, and commercial terms.
Assist in preparing monthly MIS reports and cost-control data for management.
Key Skills Required:
Strong knowledge of quantity take-off, estimation, and billing (civil works).
Proficiency in MS Excel, AutoCAD, and quantity surveying software.
Good understanding of construction methods, codes, and standards.
Strong analytical, numerical, and documentation skills.
Ability to coordinate with multiple teams and manage timelines.
Preferred Experience:
Experience in real Estate, Educational & Infra projects.
Exposure to tendering, contract management, and vendor evaluation.
