Position Overview

We are looking for a Quality Inspector with solid technical inspection experience, strong understanding of manufacturing processes, and the ability to ensure quality compliance from raw material to final delivery.

Key Responsibilities

• Perform dimensional measurements using precision tools (vernier caliper, micrometer, bore dial gauge, etc.).
• Conduct mechanical property checks, including hardness and UTS (Ultimate Tensile Strength) testing.
• Coordinate or carry out chemical property checks.
• Verify alignment and fitment of components during manufacturing and assembly.
• Review and interpret manufacturing drawings accurately.
• Inspect and approve incoming materials, in-process work, and finished products.
• Prepare and maintain inspection documentation and reports.

Qualifications & Skills

• Diploma in Mechanical Engineering from a reputed institute.
• Higher Secondary (Science) with minimum 60% marks in Mathematics and Physics.
• Minimum 3 years’ experience in quality inspection for mechanical manufacturing.
• Basic knowledge of manufacturing processes: machining, fabrication, assembly, and fitment.
• Proficiency in reading and interpreting manufacturing drawings.
• Knowledge of quality documentation and MS Office.
• AutoCAD knowledge is an advantage.
• Own a two-wheeler preferred.
• Candidates residing in Howrah will be given preference.
