Job Description

As a Field Quality Inspector - Mechanical in Surat, your role will involve the following responsibilities: - Inspection of both thermal (hot and cold) insulation and acoustic insulation. - Material Inspection: Checking the quality and suitability of insulation materials. - Surface Preparation: Inspecting surface preparation for insulation application (e.g., cleaning, prepping for coating, etc.). - Installation Inspection: Ensuring that insulation materials are installed correctly, according to specifications and project plans. - Film Thickness Measurements: Measuring and recording dry and wet film thickness of coatings. - Weather Conditions: Observing and documenting atmospheric conditions before, during, and after painting/coating operations. - Visual Inspections: Performing visual inspections for defects, damage, or non-compliance. - Adhesion Testing: Conducting adhesion tests on coatings and insulations. - Material Handling & Storage: Verifying proper material handling, storage, and waste management. Qualifications required for this position: - Minimum 5 years experience in piping insulation inspection. Please note that this is a Contractual position for a minimum duration of 1 year.
