Job Description

As an experienced Quality Engineering Manager, you will be responsible for taking charge of QA teams and enhancing testing processes through automation, standardization, best practices, and effective tools. Your forward-thinking approach towards technology and hands-on expertise in cultivating high-performance teams will be crucial. You should have a proven track record in designing automation frameworks, tools, and driving process enhancements across the Engineering organization. **Key Responsibilities:** - Lead, manage, and mentor technical QA teams - Collaborate with Product and Engineering departments for alignment with product roadmap - Define and execute testing methodologies in coordination with Senior Leadership - Identify opportunities for an automation-first approach - Strategize and implement initiatives to enhance product and platform quality - Address technical testing challenges and guide the team towards an optimized automation strategy - Influence design and implementation decisions with expertise in test automation and software engineering best practices - Monitor test metrics, collaborate with other engineering teams, contribute technically when necessary, and spearhead process improvement efforts **Qualifications Required:** - Experience with distributed Microservices architecture applications and End to End testing - Proficiency in test automation frameworks like Selenium, scripting languages such as Python and Java - Familiarity with Backend test automation tools for batch jobs and server-side applications - Solid grasp of software testing methodologies, tools, and CI/CD pipelines - Ability to develop and implement QA strategies using open-source and proprietary technologies - Strong analytical capabilities, exceptional problem-solving skills, and experience in managing distributed teams - Knowledge of cloud platforms like AWS and Azure, containerization tools such as Docker and Kubernetes - Familiarity with Scrum methodologies and project management - Track record of driving organizational change with cross-functional stakeholders It is required for this role to hold a Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or a related field, have a minimum of 3 years of experience in people management, specifically overseeing SDETs, and engaging effectively across departments. Additionally, a minimum of 10 years of experience in Software testing domain, including designing automation frameworks, testing tools, and automation tests, is necessary.,
