Quality Engineer - Manual Testing

Key Skills:

Roles and Responsibilities:

• Conduct thorough manual testing of software applications to ensure functionality and performance meet specifications.
• Execute integration testing and API testing using tools such as Postman or SoapUI.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand requirements and provide feedback on software quality.
• Utilize test management and defect tracking tools (e.g., JIRA) to document and manage defects throughout the testing lifecycle.
• Perform functional, regression, sanity, integration, and end-to-end testing to validate software solutions.
• Maintain a strong understanding of defect lifecycle management and ensure timely resolution of issues.
• Communicate effectively with international stakeholders, providing updates and insights on testing progress.
• Demonstrate strong attention to detail and a solution-oriented mindset in all testing activities.

Skills Required:

• Strong expertise in manual testing methodologies (functional, regression, sanity, integration, end-to-end)
• Proficiency in API testing using tools such as Postman or SoapUI
• Experience with integration and system testing in complex environments
• Hands-on knowledge of test management and defect tracking tools (e.g., JIRA)
• Strong understanding of defect lifecycle management and resolution processes
• Excellent collaboration and communication skills for cross-functional and global stakeholder engagement
• Detail-oriented with problem-solving and solution-driven mindset
• Basic exposure to automation testing (nice-to-have)
