Quality Engineer

Position: Junior QA Engineer Experience: 0–2 years in manual or automation testing

What You’ll Do Most Of The Time

• Understand product requirements and write comprehensive test cases
• Perform manual testing and assist with automation testing as needed
• Identify, document, and follow up on bugs and usability issues
• Collaborate closely with developers and the product team to validate and refine features
• Maintain and organize test documentation and test cycles
• Participate in QA discussions during sprint planning and retrospectives
• Learn and gradually contribute to test automation frameworks

What You’ll Need To Qualify

• Strong attention to detail and problem-solving skills
• Clear communication — both written and verbal — with technical and non-technical teams
• Basic knowledge of QA methodologies, test case design, and defect lifecycle
• Familiarity with tools like JIRA, TestRail, or similar
• Exposure to databases and ability to write simple SQL queries
• A strong desire to learn and grow in QA and automation
• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field

Preferred Skills

You don’t need to know all of these — but be excited to learn what you don’t:

• Experience with API testing tools (Postman, Swagger)
• Understanding of Selenium, Cypress, or other automation tools
• Familiarity with Git or version control workflows
• Exposure to Agile methodologies and QA in a sprint-based environment
• Understanding of performance or security testing fundamentals

• Ability to think critically and troubleshoot effectively
• Strong sense of ownership and follow-through
• Willingness to take feedback and constantly improve

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: ₹25,000.00 - ₹40,000.00 per month
