Quality Engineer EOT Crane / Heavy Fabrication Machinery

The Quality Engineer role at Endeavour Instrument Pvt. Ltd. involves performing incoming, in-process, and final quality inspections of fabricated crane components and assemblies. You will be responsible for ensuring dimensional accuracy and material compliance according to technical drawings, BOMs, and customer specifications. Collaboration with production and design teams to address quality issues and deviations is a key aspect of this position. Additionally, maintaining QC documents, inspection reports, test records, and NCRs will be part of your responsibilities. Conducting welding inspections, ensuring adherence to WPS & PQR, and upholding compliance with ISO and safety standards in fabrication and assembly processes are essential tasks. Knowledge of paint thickness checking, NDT (like DPT/UT), and load test inspection is preferred. Taking the lead in continuous improvement initiatives in quality processes will also be expected. To qualify for this role, you should hold a Diploma/Degree in Mechanical/Electrical or Production Engineering. A solid understanding of EOT Crane parts, fabrication techniques, welding standards, and machining tolerances is required. Proficiency in reading engineering drawings and using measuring instruments such as Vernier, Micrometer, and Height Gauge is essential. Familiarity with quality tools like 5 Why, RCA, CAPA is advantageous. Candidates with experience in crane manufacturing or heavy fabrication industry will be given preference. The salary for this position will be as per industry standards and commensurate with your experience and skillset.
