Quality Control & Testing

• Conduct routine testing of

  raw materials (NR, SBR, NBR, EPDM, additives, etc.)

  , in-process compounds, and finished rubber components.
• Perform

  physical and chemical tests

  hardness, tensile strength, elongation, compression set, aging, and rebound resilience.
• Verify compound properties against

  customer specifications and ASTM/DIN/IS standards.

• Maintain calibration and verification of laboratory instruments (rheometer, Mooney viscometer, tensile tester, etc.).
  

2. Compound Formulation & Development

• Assist in

  formulating and optimizing rubber compounds

  for different applications vibration isolation, oil resistance, dynamic load bearing, etc.
• Collaborate with R&D for development of

  new or cost-effective compounds

  suitable for engine and suspension systems.
• Evaluate performance of compounds under

  thermal, dynamic, and environmental stress

  conditions.

3. Process & Production Support

• Support production during

  mixing, extrusion, molding, and curing

  processes to ensure compound consistency.
• Analyze

  process deviations

  and implement corrective and preventive actions (CAPA).
• Monitor and document

  batch-wise quality reports

  and maintain traceability.

4. Documentation & Compliance

• Maintain all

  quality records, test certificates, MSDS, and formulation sheets

  .
• Ensure compliance with

  ISO 9001 / IATF 16949 / ISO 14001

  quality management systems.
• Support internal and external

  quality audits and customer inspections.

5. Continuous Improvement

• Analyze failure modes (e.g., bond failure, hardening, swelling) and suggest

  improvements in rubber recipes or curing cycles.

• Participate in

  root cause analysis (RCA)

  for customer complaints and field failures.
• Identify and implement opportunities to

  reduce cost without compromising quality.
