Role Overview: Quality Control & Quality Assurance (QC/QA) Engineer - Infrastructure Projects We are hiring an experienced Quality Control & Quality Assurance (QC/QA) Engineer to ensure all project components including civil, structural, and service infrastructure meet the highest standards of quality and compliance. The candidate will play a key role in maintaining construction and material standards across vendors, contractors, and project partners. Key Responsibilities: Develop and implement project-specific QA/QC plans in line with applicable codes, specifications, and client requirements. Inspect and approve construction materials, workmanship, and procedures. Review drawings and technical documents for quality conformance. Conduct routine site inspections, audits, and quality control tests. Liaise with contractors, consultants, and third-party labs for compliance and documentation. Maintain detailed quality records, inspection reports, and non-conformance reports (NCRs). Recommend corrective actions and improvements to reduce defects or delays. Ensure compliance with Indian and international quality standards (IS codes, IRC, ASTM, ISO 9001, etc.). Assist in pre-qualification of suppliers and vendors based on QA/QC benchmarks. Quali?cations: Bachelor's Degree in Civil Engineering or Construction Management. 710 years of hands-on experience in QA/QC for large-scale infrastructure projects. Knowledge of QA/QC documentation, standards, and best practices. Familiarity with testing methods for materials like concrete, asphalt, aggregates, steel, etc. Proficiency in QA software/tools is a plus (e.g., QCIS, Procore, AutoCAD). Preferred: Experience in metro, transport hubs, or highways projects. Certification in ISO 9001 or Six Sigma (Green/Black Belt) will be an advantage.
