Job Description

As an Entry-Level Microbiologist in our Quality Control team, your role will involve conducting microbiological testing to ensure the safety standards of raw materials, in-process samples, and finished products. Your responsibilities will include: - Performing routine microbiological tests like Total Viable Count (TVC), Yeast & Mold, Coliform, E. coli, and Salmonella. - Conducting swab tests on equipment, surfaces, and personnel for environmental monitoring. - Preparing and sterilizing culture media, reagents, and lab consumables with aseptic technique. - Maintaining lab equipment cleanliness and functionality. - Accurately documenting microbiological results, observations, and procedures. - Coordinating hygiene audits and compliance with food safety standards. - Educating production staff on hygiene practices and food safety protocols. - Supporting QA Manager during internal and external audits. Qualifications required for this role are: - Bachelors degree in Microbiology, Biotechnology, or related field. - Familiarity with microbiological testing methods, preferably in the food or pharmaceutical industry. - Knowledge of food safety systems like HACCP, GMP, or FSSC 22000 is advantageous. - Strong attention to detail, good documentation practices, and effective communication skills.
