Job Summary:

QA/QC Engineer

Key Responsibilities:

• Supervise and conduct quality inspections of structural, civil, and finishing works (RCC, shuttering, steel, masonry, plastering, waterproofing, etc.)
  
• Ensure adherence to approved drawings, specifications, and method statements.
  
• Coordinate and monitor third-party testing of construction materials (cement, concrete, aggregates, steel, soil, etc.)
  
• Maintain quality records, cube test reports, and calibration records of lab/testing equipment.
  
• Check and approve work at every stage before proceeding to the next phase of construction.
  
• Develop and implement the project-specific QA/QC plan and ITP (Inspection & Test Plan).
  
• Prepare method statements, material submittals, and technical documents for client/consultant approvals.
  
• Conduct internal audits and ensure all non-conformities are identified, documented, and resolved.
  
• Verify and maintain records of incoming material inspections and approval certificates.
  
• Provide technical guidance and training to site teams on quality practices.
  
• Interface with clients, consultants, and contractors for quality compliance and inspections.
  
• Maintain daily site inspection logs, quality checklists, and NCR logs.
  
• Prepare and submit weekly and monthly quality reports to management.
  
• Participate in quality review meetings and assist in root cause analysis of quality issues.
  

Key Skills & Competencies:

• In-depth knowledge of construction quality standards.
  
• Strong understanding of QA/QC procedures, checklists, and documentation.
  
• Proficient in MS Office, AutoCAD, and quality documentation tools.
  
• Excellent attention to detail, analytical thinking, and communication skills.
  
• Ability to manage site teams and work under pressure.
  

Educational Qualification:

• B.E / B.Tech in Civil Engineering from a recognized university.
  
• QA/QC certification or diploma in construction quality (preferred).
