Quality Control Engineer

Roles and Responsibilities

Process & Product audit.

Handling of customer complaints and onsite customer visits for quality improvement

projects.

Red bin analysis.

Use of quality tools such as Ishikawa diagram, Pareto analysis for defect stratification and escalated counter measures.

Root Cause Analysis of Customer End Defects.

To ensure customer specific requirement (CSR).

Analysis of major line problems using QC tools & making action plan.

Reports on Poke-Yoke.

Knowledge of measuring instruments such as Vernier calipers, micrometer etc and their working.

SOP, WI, CP, PPS, Quality Alerts, Time check and FPA part report and FPA sample display on working station.

Actively participated in New Product Development.

Managing quality related documentation for Process Quality and Pre-Dispatch Inspection as per Quality Systems requirement (First Part Approval, SPC, Patrol Inspection Reports, MSA, APQP, FMEA, Control Plan)

Recommending changes to production process to improve the product quality and increase efficiency.

Defect analysis & make trouble analysis sheet for internal quality concerns
Ensure quality control processes are followed by production team.Conduct regular inspections to identify defects and implement corrective actions.Collaborate with cross-functional teams to resolve quality issues and improve overall productivity.Analyze data from QC tools such as statistical process control charts (SPC) to optimize manufacturing processes.

Inward, Outward QC reports and keep records of all BOM parts QC.

Vendor development in QC requirement

Documentations and proper record management

Instrument list and calibration report

Desired Candidate Profile

• 3-6 years of experience in Quality Control or related field (Mechanical Engineering background preferred).
  
• Diploma/B.Tech/B.E. degree in Mechanical or relevant discipline.
  
• Strong understanding of QC engineering principles, methods, and techniques.
  
• Management Tools :- 5S, Kaizen, Poke Yoke, 4M,
• Quality tools:- 7 QC Tools, CAPA, WHY-WHY Analysis.
• Good Working Knowledge in Quality related documents.
• Good knowledge in 7QC Tools.
• Good knowledge in 8D Report, Kaizen, SPC, MSA.
• Good Working Knowledge in Drawing inspection.
• Good working knowledge in MS office (MS word, Excel, PPT)
• Working with ERP
