Quality Control Engineer

Key Responsibilities:

•⁠ ⁠Develop, test, and optimize concrete mix designs as per project and durability requirements

•⁠ ⁠Conduct trial mixes and monitor performance (workability, strength, setting time, etc.)

•⁠ ⁠Oversee raw material quality (cement, aggregates, admixtures) and approve suppliers

•⁠ ⁠Implement and monitor QA/QC procedures during casting, curing, and finishing

•⁠ ⁠Perform regular cube testing, slump tests, compressive strength checks, etc.

•⁠ ⁠Ensure compliance with IS codes, project specs, and client requirements

•⁠ ⁠Maintain test reports, material approvals, and quality documentation

•⁠ ⁠Investigate quality issues (cracks, surface defects, etc.) and recommend corrective actions

•⁠ ⁠Coordinate with production, planning, and site teams to ensure quality consistency

•⁠ ⁠Assist in plant audits, internal ISO procedures, and customer inspections

Qualifications & Skills:

•⁠ ⁠B.E. / Diploma in Civil Engineering (mandatory)

•⁠ ⁠5+ years experience in precast or concrete quality control

•⁠ ⁠In-depth knowledge of concrete mix design (IS 10262, ACI codes)

•⁠ ⁠Familiar with NDT methods, lab equipment, and material testing procedures

•⁠ ⁠Strong understanding of M-Sand vs. River sand, Admixture use, Curing methods

•⁠ ⁠Proficient in report preparation, data analysis, and technical communication

•⁠ Working in bridge construction & Metro construction is preferred

Job Types: Full-time, Permanent

Pay: ₹25,000.00 - ₹35,000.00 per month
