Quality Checker-Material & Logistics

As a Quality Checker specializing in Material & Logistics, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the quality and integrity of materials used in projects. Your responsibilities will include: - Conducting Inward Material Verification by inspecting incoming materials for physical damage, quantity, make, model, and compliance with purchase orders and technical specifications. You will also verify these materials against approved vendor lists and data sheets. - Performing Pre-Installation QC Checks to test components such as cameras, NVRs, switches, and routers to ensure they are functionally ready before dispatch to project sites. - Overseeing Field Installation Config Details by visiting project sites to verify proper installation, mounting, labeling, and configuration as per project requirements. - Validating Outgoing Material Quality Check to ensure that all materials sent to sites or customers are correct and complete, including accessories and consumables. - Providing support in System Testing and Commissioning by assisting in end-to-end system testing, video feed checks, connectivity, power testing, and uptime validation. - Generating detailed QC reports with remarks, test results, and photographic evidence where applicable. - Verifying Tool & Calibration to ensure that all QC tools and instruments are calibrated and functioning correctly. - Coordinating with other departments such as Stores, Purchase, Logistics, and Project Teams to address real-time updates and resolution of QC issues. - Ensuring Compliance & Documentation by adhering to ISO or internal quality standards and maintaining up-to-date records for audits. - Identifying areas for Continuous Improvement by suggesting process enhancements based on recurring issues or observations during inspections. - Handling Return Material Reconciliation by conducting Materials Inward Verification post-project completion and sending details to the Inventory Team and Accounts Team. This is a full-time, permanent role based in Chennai. The position may require occasional travel. As part of the benefits package, you will be eligible for Provident Fund.
