Job Description

As a QA Engineer at BMC, you will play a crucial role in ensuring product quality by designing and developing robust automation for various testing scenarios. Your contribution will directly impact BMC's success and your own professional growth. Here's what you can expect in this exciting role: - Design and develop scalable automation for functional, regression, performance, and integration testing. - Define and enforce automation standards, best practices, and coding guidelines. - Collaborate with product and development teams to translate requirements into automated test scenarios. - Integrate test automation into CI/CD pipelines in collaboration with DevOps. - Evaluate and recommend new tools and technologies to enhance automation processes. - Analyze test results, identify root causes, and ensure high product quality. - Contribute to automation strategy to reduce manual testing efforts and accelerate releases. - Maintain documentation for automation processes and test cases. Qualifications required for this role include: - 6+ years of experience in software testing and automation. - 4+ years of experience in a QA automation role. - Strong knowledge of AI/ML testing methodologies, model evaluation metrics, and data pipeline testing. - Expertise in automation tools such as Selenium, TestNG, RestAPI, etc. - Proficiency in programming languages like Java, Python, JavaScript, or similar. - Familiarity with CI/CD tools, cloud environments, containerization, databases, and SQL. - Experience with API testing tools and performance testing frameworks. Desired skills that would be beneficial for this role: - Test automation experience and scripting skills. - Performance testing frameworks like JMeter. - Familiarity with Agile methodology and Jenkins CI.
