Quality Automation Engineer II

As a Web Quality Automation Engineer II at our Partner (JHT), one of the largest fitness equipment manufacturers globally, you will play a crucial role in developing tools and automated scripts for manual and automatic regression testing of web services and applications. Your responsibilities include collaborating with various teams to understand and document requirements, developing automated test scripts using JavaScript frameworks, executing API automation tests, and ensuring the functionality, performance, and stability of web services meet business expectations. You will work closely with QA team members, web development teams, console software teams, DQA, and stakeholders to design and maintain automated regression test suites, validate backend services, and identify test requirements from functional specifications. Additionally, you will isolate, replicate, and report software defects, participate in code reviews, and advocate for product quality by collaborating with global development teams. To excel in this role, you are required to have 3 to 5 years of hands-on QA experience, including test automation and regression testing, experience with JavaScript testing framework such as Playwright, proficiency in API testing using tools like Postman, and familiarity with Git/Bitbucket and Agile testing processes. A solid understanding of web applications, JavaScript, MongoDB, and the ability to build automation frameworks from scratch are essential. A Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related field is preferred. Clear communication skills, good judgment, decision-making abilities, and a passion for learning new technologies are crucial for success in this role. You should also have experience in BDD for building Automated frameworks, the ability to incrementally deliver applications in an Agile environment, and be proactive in enhancing your skills through training and development programs.
