Quality Assurance Tester

As a QA Tester with 5+ years of experience, your role will involve analyzing requirements, designing test strategies, and developing test plans to ensure comprehensive coverage. Your key responsibilities will include: - Creating and maintaining detailed test cases, scripts, and documentation - Executing functional, regression, integration, and system testing to ensure software quality - Identifying, documenting, and tracking defects using appropriate tools and working closely with developers to resolve them - Contributing to test automation initiatives to streamline testing processes - Collaborating with cross-functional teams to ensure smooth test execution and alignment on deliverables - Participating in Agile ceremonies to provide input on test coverage and improvements In terms of skills and technology, you should have: - 5+ years of experience in a Test Analyst role in a client-facing environment - Experience in financial services, particularly retail & business banking product data, and data models - Experience in large data migration & integration programs - Strong analytical skills, attention to detail, and the ability to write clear and concise test cases and reports - Proficiency in software testing methodologies, tools, and techniques, with an understanding of data management, governance, and security - Knowledge of test automation frameworks and scripting languages, with familiarity with Jira Xray being desirable - Ability to write SQL for data selection and validation - Familiarity with defect tracking tools and Agile project management tools like Confluence and Jira - Experience of working in an Agile environment,
