Quality Assurance Tester

You are a skilled QA Tester with expertise in both manual and automation testing, having 3-5 years of experience in ensuring software quality through effective testing strategies and methodologies. As a QA Tester, your responsibilities include designing, developing, and executing comprehensive test plans and test cases for manual and automation testing. You will perform functional, regression, integration, and performance testing to ensure product stability. Identifying, documenting, and tracking bugs and defects through appropriate tools is also a key part of your role. Collaborating with developers to understand requirements and develop effective testing strategies is crucial. Your role also involves developing and maintaining automated test scripts using industry-standard frameworks. Conducting root cause analysis and providing detailed reports on test outcomes is essential. You will participate in Agile ceremonies such as sprint planning, daily stand-ups, and retrospectives. Ensuring adherence to quality assurance best practices and processes is a fundamental aspect of your responsibilities. To qualify for this position, you should have 3-5 years of proven experience in both manual and automation testing. A Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field is required. You must possess a strong understanding of software testing methodologies, tools, and best practices. Hands-on experience with automation frameworks such as Selenium, TestNG, or equivalent is necessary. Proficiency in test case creation, defect tracking tools, and bug reporting is expected. Additionally, you should have a strong knowledge of programming languages such as Java, Python, or similar for test automation. Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills are essential for this role. Preferred skills for this position include experience with API testing tools such as Postman or SoapUI, familiarity with CI/CD pipelines, and version control systems like Git. Knowledge of Agile/Scrum methodologies would be advantageous.,
