Quality Assurance Test Analyst

As a Tester for APIM Manual at Birlasoft, you play a crucial role in ensuring the software developed by the team meets its intended purpose. Your responsibilities include conducting manual tests, analyzing software and systems to prevent issues, and collaborating with the development team to enhance product quality. **Key Responsibilities:** - Prepare test plans and strategy documents. - Execute tests and report findings. - Review requirements, use cases, and technical specifications to identify gaps early in the development cycle. - Write and track defects, verify defect resolution. - Possess strong analytical and critical thinking skills. - Demonstrate proficiency in Agile methodologies. - Familiarity with web application testing, SDLC, and testing best practices. - Basic knowledge of SQL. - Excellent written and verbal communication skills. - Attention to detail and commitment to quality. - Experience with test management tools. - Exposure to test automation tools will be an added advantage. - Prior experience in API testing, familiarity with Fiddler is preferred. **Qualifications Required:** - Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field. - Minimum 4 years of experience in Manual/DB/API Testing. - Proficiency in English language skills, both oral and written.
