Quality Assurance Specialist 1

As a Quality Assurance Engineer at SOTI, you will have the opportunity to design and execute test cases/features following standard test design practices. You will actively participate in all scrum ceremonies including sprint planning, grooming, retrospectives, and demos. Ensuring high-quality standards across deliverables by testing web applications and performing device-side testing on platforms like Android, iOS, Windows, macOS, and Linux will be a key responsibility. Collaboration is at the heart of what we do at SOTI, and as a Quality Assurance Engineer, you will closely work with product managers, designers, developers, and QA teams for seamless test execution and product delivery. Providing logical and practical solutions to business challenges, offering constructive feedback to improve team quality and processes, and staying updated with product knowledge and technical advancements are also part of your role. To be successful in this role, you should bring a Bachelor's degree in computer science or a STEM-related field along with 2-4 years of QA experience in a web-based development environment. Strong manual testing skills with a focus on UI quality, exposure to accessibility standards testing, and familiarity with automation tools like Selenium or Playwright (automation is a plus, not mandatory) are desired qualifications. Additionally, having experience with any programming language (C#, Java, Python, etc.) and exposure to API testing and debugging will be advantageous.
