Quality Assurance (QA) Tester

As an Engineer II - Quality Assurance at Zapcom, your role involves fully testing the product or system to ensure proper functionality and alignment with business needs. You will be responsible for creating and implementing testing methods, recording test results, and providing recommendations for software program improvements. Your work will directly contribute to enhancing the quality and usability of new products. Key Responsibilities: - Review software specifications and technical design documents to provide feedback for test planning and procedures. - Provide feedback to Leads on testing strategies, design fixes, and patches. - Review and analyze system specifications, perform system load tests for new products, and execute test scripts while reviewing results. - Create detailed, comprehensive test plans and test cases, and report and document all issues identified. - Make improvements to the functionality, design, and usability of new products. Qualifications Required: - Experience in conducting testing on Web-based/Desktop applications. - Proficiency in Automation Frameworks like Selenium or Katalon for building automation scripts using keyword-driven frameworks. - Ability to build SQL queries, use PL/SQL, and basic LINUX commands. - Experience in test script writing using tools like XRAY/Jira, and hands-on experience in functional testing, integration testing, regression testing, security testing, performance testing, and UI testing. - Knowledge of the Airline Industry is an added benefit. - Experience with automated test tools like Selenium is an added advantage.,
