Quality Assurance Product Owner

As a Quality Assurance Product Owner, you will play a crucial role in collaborating with onshore Product Owners, Business Analysts, and stakeholders to comprehend the product vision, goals, and priorities. You will serve as the voice of the customer for offshore teams, ensuring clear requirements and acceptance criteria. Active participation in Agile ceremonies like sprint planning, daily stand-ups, sprint reviews, and retrospectives will be essential. Tracking and communicating progress, risks, and impediments to onshore Product Owners and project managers, as well as facilitating effective communication between onshore and offshore teams to ensure alignment on product goals, will be part of your responsibilities. Your role will also involve developing, maintaining, and executing comprehensive test plans, test cases, and test scripts based on product requirements. Performing functional, regression, integration, and user acceptance testing (UAT) to uphold product quality standards will be crucial. Identifying, documenting, and tracking defects using bug tracking tools and collaborating with developers for timely resolution will be part of your quality assurance responsibilities. Advocating for quality throughout the software development lifecycle and supporting automated testing efforts in collaboration with developers and DevOps teams when applicable will be key. To excel in this role, you should have proven experience as a Product Owner, Business Analyst, or QA Analyst in Agile software development environments. A strong understanding of Agile frameworks such as Scrum and Kanban, as well as Agile tools like JIRA, is essential. You must possess hands-on experience in writing user stories, acceptance criteria, and managing product backlogs. Solid experience in manual testing, defect tracking, and test case management is required, while familiarity with automation testing tools like Selenium and Postman is advantageous. Excellent communication skills are vital for effective onshore-offshore collaboration. You should be able to work independently and proactively in a distributed team environment, showcasing strong analytical and problem-solving skills. While a basic understanding of the technology stack (C#, React, Python) is beneficial, it is not mandatory. Preferred skills for this role include experience working in distributed/onshore-offshore teams, knowledge of API testing and performance testing, exposure to DevOps practices, familiarity with SQL and database testing, and prior experience in financial services, SaaS, or related industries.,
