Quality Assurance Manager (Staples & FMCG)

Job Title: Quality Assurance Manager (Staples & FMCG) Company: Dough One Sources Pvt Ltd Location: Bikaner, Rajasthan Salary: 30,000 - 35,000 per month Experience: 3 - 5 Years (FMCG / Staples preferred) Job Overview We are looking for a strict and detail-oriented Quality Assurance (QA) Manager to safeguard the quality of our staples (grains, pulses, flour). You will be the final authority on product quality, ensuring that every bag leaving our facility meets FSSAI standards and customer expectations. You will also oversee the quality aspects of inventory storage to prevent spoilage. Key Responsibilities 1. Comprehensive Quality Checks: Incoming QC: Conduct rigorous quality checks on all raw materials (staples/grains) upon arrival to ensure they meet purchase specifications (moisture content, foreign matter, etc.). In-Process QC: Monitor the production line to ensure processing and packaging adhere to hygiene and quality standards. Final Inspection: Perform random sampling of finished goods before dispatch. 2. Inventory & Shelf-Life Management: regularly inspect the inventory in the warehouse to check for signs of spoilage, moisture damage, or pest infestation. Manage the "First-In, First-Out" (FIFO) process based on shelf-life quality to minimize waste. 3. Compliance & Hygiene: Ensure the entire facility complies with FSSAI regulations and safety standards. Conduct regular hygiene audits of the production floor and staff. Maintain all quality documentation, batch records, and lab reports for audits. 4. Lab & Testing: Manage basic lab testing for physical and chemical analysis of food products. Coordinate with external labs for advanced testing when required. Requirements Education: B.Sc or M.Sc in Food Technology, Microbiology, or Chemistry. Experience: 3-5 years of proven experience in Quality Control within the FMCG or Food Processing (Staples) industry.

Core Skills: Strong knowledge of FSSAI guidelines and food safety standards. Experience with physical analysis of grains/staples. Ability to maintain strict records and reject non-compliant stock.
