Job Description

Position Overview

Quality Assurance Manager

Key Responsibilities

Quality Management Systems

Establish, implement, and maintain quality assurance processes in line with IATF 16949, ISO 9001, and customer-specific requirements.
Lead internal audits, customer audits, and third-party audits.
Ensure compliance with OEM standards and regulatory requirements.

Product & Process Quality

Oversee inspection and testing of sheet metal components, assemblies, and tooling.
Implement APQP, PPAP, FMEA, SPC, and MSA methodologies.
Drive root cause analysis and corrective/preventive actions for quality issues.

Supplier Quality Assurance

Develop and monitor supplier quality systems for sheet metal raw materials and components.
Conduct supplier audits and ensure adherence to JBM quality standards.
Collaborate with suppliers for defect reduction and process improvements.

Customer Interface

Act as the primary contact for customer quality concerns and complaints.
Manage warranty claims, field failures, and corrective actions.
Ensure timely resolution of customer issues with effective communication.

Team Leadership & Training

Lead and mentor the QA team, inspectors, and engineers.
Conduct training programs on quality tools and standards.
Foster a culture of continuous improvement and zero-defect mindset.
