To excel in this position, you should be pursuing or have recently completed a degree in Computer Science, IT, B.Tech, BCA, or MCA. You should possess a basic understanding of testing concepts, SDLC, and STLC. Familiarity with automation tools such as Selenium, Appium, or Postman, as well as the ability to write and understand code in Java and JavaScript for automation testing, is required. Knowledge of API testing basics, strong documentation and communication skills, and a willingness to learn and contribute to real-world testing scenarios are also must-haves. Your approach should reflect precision, ownership, and collaboration. Additionally, exposure to manual or automation testing through academic or side projects, basic scripting knowledge, or experience in writing simple test cases will be considered advantageous. A passion for fantasy sports, gaming, or consumer tech products, along with familiarity with tools like JIRA, TestRail, or Git, is a plus.
