Key Responsibilities:

1. Pre-Production :

• Review and validate garment patterns and technical specs before issuing to production.
• Coordinate with design and technical teams to ensure patterns are production-ready.
• Ensure PP (Pre-Production) samples meet quality and construction standards.
• Raise red flags on potential quality risks prior to production kick-off.

2. Sampling & Approvals :

• Evaluate sealing, fit, and size set samples against approved specifications and buyer requirements.
• Document deviations and ensure timely corrective actions with the sampling and merchandising teams.

3. Inline and Midline Inspections :

• Conduct inline inspections to check first output and evaluate stitching quality, measurements, trims, and construction details.
• Ensure early detection of quality issues and collaborate with production and line supervisors to rectify deviations.
• Conduct midline inspections to monitor bulk production consistency and prevent recurring quality errors.

4. Final Inspection & Reporting :

• Perform final inspections as per AQL or customer-specific standards.
• Generate detailed inspection reports and ensure proper documentation of findings and corrective actions.
• Communicate inspection outcomes to the QA Manager and relevant production stakeholders promptly.

5. Communication & Escalation :

• Maintain effective communication with production, sourcing, technical, and vendor teams at every quality checkpoint.
• Escalate critical issues that may impact timelines or quality benchmarks to the QA Manager and VP Production & Supply Chain.
• Participate in cross-functional meetings and quality review forums.

Key Skills & Requirements :

• Bachelor's degree/Diploma in Textile Engineering, Garment Technology, or related field.
• 35 years of experience in quality assurance within garment manufacturing or export houses.
• In-depth knowledge of QA standards, pattern evaluation, garment construction, AQL inspection procedures.
• Strong communication, coordination, and reporting skills.
• Proficient in MS Office, quality reporting tools, and documentation systems.
• Ability to work on the production floor and travel to vendor/factory locations if required.
