Position Overview

Quality Assurance Executive

Key Responsibilities

Quality Control & Chemical Analysis

• Conduct routine chemical quality analysis of raw materials and finished products as per internal and client standards.
  
• Perform organoleptic, physical, and chemical parameter testing (Density, RI, GC reports, solubility, etc.).
  
• Coordinate with production and R&D teams to maintain consistent product standards.
  
• Verify batch results and ensure proper documentation before release.
  

Documentation & Regulatory Compliance

• Prepare, verify, and maintain:
  

• COA (Certificate of Analysis)

• MSDS (Material Safety Data Sheets)

• Technical Data Sheets (TDS)

• Product Specifications
  
• Compliance certificates (IFRA, Non-GMO, Vegan, etc. if applicable)
  
• Ensure documentation accuracy based on lab test results and regulatory norms.
  

Quality Assurance & Audit Control

• Maintain proper documentation as per industry quality standards (ISO/GMP or internal systems).
  
• Support internal and external audits and provide necessary documents.
  
• Investigate product quality issues and assist in implementing corrective and preventive actions (CAPA).
  

Coordination & Reporting

• Work closely with production, logistics, and sales teams to ensure timely product clearance and dispatch.
  
• Maintain and update quality logs, test reports, batch history, and records.
  
• Provide regular QA reports to management.

Skills & Requirements

• Education:

  Bachelors or Masters degree in Chemistry, Industrial Chemistry, Organic Chemistry, or related fields.

• Experience:

  Prior experience in QA/QC in essential oils, fragrances, natural products, chemical, or pharmaceutical sector preferred.
• Good understanding of product regulatory standards and documentation requirements.
  
• Strong analytical and observational skills.
  
• Proficiency in maintaining professional documentation and compliance records.
  
• Knowledge of GC/GC-MS data interpretation will be an added advantage.
