Quality Assurance Engineer (QA)

In this dynamic startup environment, you will review requirements, specifications, and technical design documents to provide timely feedback. Collaborating closely with product managers and developers, you will create detailed test plans and test cases, executing both manual and automated tests to maintain product quality. Your responsibilities will include identifying, documenting, and tracking bugs using tools like Jira, as well as performing regression testing and API testing using tools like Postman. To excel in this role, you should have at least 1 year of proven work experience in software quality assurance, with a strong knowledge of QA methodologies, tools, and processes. Hands-on experience with manual and automation testing is essential, along with the ability to write clear and comprehensive test plans and test cases. Familiarity with bug-tracking tools like Jira, Bugzilla, or Redmine, as well as basic knowledge of SQL and scripting, will be beneficial. Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills, attention to detail, and strong communication and collaboration skills are key requirements for this role.
