The Opportunity

ISMG is seeking a

Quality Assurance Lead

to join our team of innovators, dedicated to raising the bar on user experiences across our digital products and platforms. This role is not just about testing it s about owning the quality strategy that underpins everything we deliver. As QA Lead, you ll collaborate closely with Product, Development, and Design teams to ensure we deliver reliable, secure, and seamless solutions that our global audiences depend on. You ll lead functional, regression, performance, and security testing while expanding our automation coverage to accelerate development cycles. What Youll Do

Execute manual and automated tests for web, mobile, and REST API applications.
Conduct functional, regression, performance, and non-functional testing to ensure accuracy, reliability, and scalability.
Develop automated test suites to accelerate validation and reduce release cycles in an agile environment
Assess release readiness, ensuring on-time delivery with the highest standards of quality.
Provide testing support during production deployments, maintenance windows, and urgent issue investigations.
Partner with Development, Product, Operations, and Design teams to ensure QA coverage and timely turnaround of deliverables.
Attend planning meetings, provide input on user stories, and create clear acceptance criteria and test cases.
Troubleshoot complex issues, identify root causes, and propose long-term solutions.
Contribute tools, frameworks, and process improvements to strengthen QA across the organization.
Gather insights from Customer Service and user feedback channels to refine test approaches and ensure real-world reliability.

What You Bring

Experience & Technical Skills:

3-5+ years of professional QA experience in fast-paced, agile environments.
Solid understanding of the Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC) and QA best practices.
Hands-on experience with manual and automated testing across web, mobile, and API applications.
Familiarity with SQL (MySQL/PostgreSQL) for data validation and backend testing is a plus.
Proficiency with automated testing tools that can be applied to both user-facing products and APIs alike (e.g., Selenium, Protractor, Behat, Python, PHP, or similar).
Strong knowledge of at least one programming/scripting language (JavaScript, Python, PHP, Java, C#, etc.).
Comfortable testing across platforms (Windows, Linux, Web) and browsers, with understanding of key differences.
Exposure to performance testing (e.g., JMeter) and API testing (e.g., Postman).
Familiarity with security and penetration testing tools (Linux Kali, OWASP, AUCENTIX) is a plus.
Proven ability to create, present, and maintain technical documentation, test plans, and user guides.
Experience incorporating customer feedback and service team insights into QA strategies.

Tools & Platforms:

Proficiency with Azure DevOps, Microsoft 365, and relational databases.
Experience developing, maintaining, and executing automated test frameworks.
Working knowledge of markup/scripting languages for test case design and validation. (HTML, XML, JavaScript, PHP, Perl, Python, Bash, ASP, C++, C#, Java, and .NET etc.)

Soft Skills & Core Competencies:

Strong written and verbal communication skills; fluent in English.
Excellent problem-solving and troubleshooting skills; proactive in identifying root causes and solutions.
Strong ability to manage multiple priorities and deadlines while maintaining attention to detail.
Demonstrated ownership mindset with the ability to work independently as well as collaborate across teams.
