Quality Assurance Engineer I

As a QA Engineer at Volt Money, you will be part of a rapidly growing team dedicated to mobile applications in the fintech sector. Your role will involve collaborating closely with founders, product managers, and engineers to understand features, create test cases, enhance product quality, and expedite the release process from development to production. Additionally, you will be responsible for advocating QA concerns in meetings and offering valuable end-user feedback to enhance the overall customer experience. **Key Responsibilities:** - Collaborate with a team of experienced engineers to oversee testing for multiple software releases. - Hands-on experience in developing, maintaining, and executing test cases/suites, and analyzing results for both automated and manual testing. - Proficiency in testing web-based software, mobile applications, and Rest APIs. - Develop test plans and cases for new features, ensuring comprehensive test coverage. - Identify and troubleshoot issues to their root cause, and generate detailed bug reports. - Prepare precise Test Completion reports for management review and approval of releases. - Engage in test planning activities and effectively communicate status updates within the team. **Qualifications:** *BASIC QUALIFICATIONS* - Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related field, or equivalent experience. - 3+ years of experience in manual and automation testing. - Proficient in testing frontend and backend systems using tools like Postman and Restclient. - Strong understanding of Web and Mobile applications and Rest APIs. *Preferred Qualifications* - Master's degree in Computer Science or equivalent experience. - Excellent interpersonal, writing, and communication skills. - Familiarity with CI/CD processes and tools. - Knowledge of automation tools such as JAVA, Rest-assured, Selenium, and Appium for frontend or backend testing. - Experience with tools like Jira, Confluence, Jenkins, TestNG, and TestRail.,
