Quality Assurance Engineer - ETL/Datawarehouse Testing

As a QA Engineer (ETL) at Data Unveil, your primary responsibility is to design, implement, and execute test cases for data projects. You play a crucial role in evaluating the testing process, identifying bugs, and providing recommendations to enhance the quality assurance process. Your work contributes to the delivery of clear and hassle-free business insights to clients in the Pharma industry. - Design, implement, and execute test cases - Evaluate the testing process and make recommendations as necessary - Ensure timely execution of test cases - Identify, record, and track bugs for resolution - Collaborate with the Development and Business teams to understand project requirements - Analyze Business Requirements and develop positive/negative test scenarios - Create test files to validate Business requirements and metadata layer configurations - Utilize strong SQL query skills for data analysis - Perform root cause analysis on defects - Address data issues with strong analytical and technical skills - Use Jira to track work assignments - Work on Cloud-related projects, with experience in AWS/AWS Services being a plus - Adapt to new environments and learn in-house tools and practices - Demonstrate strong communication, interpersonal, and presentation skills Qualifications Required: - Minimum 7+ years of QA experience in data projects - Good experience in ETL/Data warehouse projects - Strong knowledge of writing complex SQL queries - Experience in Cloud-related projects - Experience using Jira for work tracking - Working experience in AWS/AWS Services is a significant advantage - Ability to adapt to new environments and learn in-house tools and practices,
