Quality Assurance

Job Summary

We are seeking a detail-oriented and experienced Quality Assurance Engineer to ensure the quality of civil construction works across all project phases. The QA Engineer will develop and implement quality assurance protocols, inspect construction processes and materials, and ensure compliance with project specifications, codes, and safety regulations.

Key Responsibilities

• Develop and implement QA plans and procedures in line with project requirements, industry standards, and client expectations.
• Review and ensure adherence to construction drawings, specifications, codes, and standards.
• Conduct site inspections to verify construction methods, materials, and workmanship.
• Coordinate with QA/QC inspectors, engineers, and contractors to resolve non-conformities or quality issues.
• Monitor and verify material quality, including sampling, testing, and reporting.
• Maintain quality records and documentation (inspection reports, test results, NCRs, corrective actions).
• Support internal and external audits and ensure closure of audit findings.
• Conduct or support training for site personnel on quality standards and procedures.
• Work closely with project stakeholders to ensure smooth and timely delivery of quality deliverables.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in civil engineering or a related field.
• [2–7] years of experience in quality assurance in civil construction.
• Strong understanding of construction materials, processes, standards (e.g., IS, ASTM, BS).
• Experience with quality management systems (QMS) such as ISO 9001.
• Familiar with construction software and tools (AutoCAD, MS Office, QA/QC reporting tools).
• Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.
• Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced construction environment.

Preferred

• Certification in Quality Assurance/Quality Control (e.g., ASQ, NDT, ISO Lead Auditor).
• Previous experience with large-scale infrastructure, residential, or commercial projects.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: ₹300,000.00 - ₹400,000.00 per year
