Quality Assurance

We have a requirement for Quality Assurance (Automobile / Oil & Gas Industry) Position

Primarily responsible for reviewing and approving Supplier Quality documents/Manufacturing Record Books (MRB)/ Material Test Certificates (MTC), upload into ECM Workspace, IBase Creation, Material Certificate Tagging process.

Also, responsible to carry out other quality assurance related tasks assigned by the team lead time to time

Roles, Responsibilities, Authorities and Accountabilities

• Create / update IBASE and Material Certificate Tagging process
• Review of manufacturing records and various vendor documents, which include, MTRs, Dimensional reports, welding, PWHT, NDE, coating, Pressure test and hardness test reports*
• Verify documents / records for Compliance to Bill of Materials (BOM) requirements, Material
• Specification, Weld Specification and product specifications*
• Validate and upload the documents into ECM Workspace / share drive
• Offering Material Test Certificates to Customer Review*
• Coordinate with work assigner and vendor to complete the task efficiently
• Create NCR whenever required and work with the vendor / stake holder to close the NCR in time
• Review of Sub-Con document*
• Verify Tooling Certificates for Compliance to Bill of Materials (BOM) requirements

Qualifications and Education Requirements

• Diploma in Mechanical/ Metallurgical Engineering
• 1 to 3 years of relevant experience
• Excellent oral and written communication skills
• Ability to use computer system and associated software
