QA - Roles & Responsibilities

1. Resource Identification, Planning and allocation.

2. Member of Multidisciplinary Team (MDT).

3. Member of the Management Review Team.

4. Maintain and Analysis Quality data relating to the Quality department.

5. Review and Approval of Test Procedures, Work Instructions and monitor the Effective implementation.

6.Review and Approval of Control plan / Quality plan.

7. Communicate to customers about the shipment of suspect products.

8. Identify the areas of continual improvement, implementation and review.

9. Control of Standards and Quality records.

10. Coordinate with Head-Materials in External source provider /Sub contractor development, Evaluating and auditing activities.

11. Approval of New vendors jointly with Head-R&D and Head-Materials.

12. Coordinate with Head-Materials regarding quality related works of incoming Materials.

13. Control of Incoming and Finished Non-conforming products.

14 Review and Approval of records for maintenance of Inspection, Instruments & Equipments including the safety of the Instruments & Equipments.

15. Taking corrective action about the instrument which is having deviation during calibration.

16. Approval for Calibration, Service and AMC of the instruments.

17. Planning, Execution and Approval of Measurement System Analysis.

Control of Inspection and test status during all stages of the product.

18. Taking correction, Corrective action and preventive actions to eliminate the causes of actual or potential Non nonconformities for finished products.

19. Customer complaints Redressal & Replacements.

20. Taking disposition action, Corrective and preventive action regarding incoming and final products in co-ordination with other functional (R&D / Purchase / Production / Sales / Marketing).

21. PPAP documents preparation, Sign off and submission.

22. Review & Approval the infrastructure identified for the laboratory.

23. Identify the training needs for subordinates, Train and evaluate them.

24. Technical assistance to marketing personnel and customers.

25. Lead Talon Tack through Internal, Customer and Third party or Other Quality System audits.

26. Identify and implement the Statistical Process Control Techniques in coordination with Head-R&D/Product Responsible Scientist.

27. Analysis of Cost of Poor quality.

28. Delegation of responsibility and Authority to subordinates.

29. Implement and Review the Quality Management System in all the areas of the company as Management Representative.

30. Preparation of Control plan / Quality plan.

31. Approval of Quality plan and Purchase specification for packing material.

32. Planning / Approval / Procurement (Indent) of lab consumables & requirements.

33. Preparation / Control of test procedures Updating of the International and Internal standards.

34. Control of Incoming / Final Product Inspections.

35. Handling of Incoming and Final Products Non conformances.

36. Prepare & achieve Quality objectives / Targets, Risk and opportunity assessments and customer specific requirements

37. Review the adequacy of Procedures and Competency of the lab personnel.

38. Implement the compliance of Quality Management System.

39. Implement the compliance of Environmental Management System.

40. Coordinate for Internal / External audits for QMS & EMS.

41. Coordinate for customer audit / Inspection.

42. Coordinate with the Safety Committee and implement their recommendations.

43. Member of Production Planning Committee.

44. Planning and control of Product studies.

45. Participate as Internal Auditor in QMS Activities.

46. Participate as Internal Auditor in safety Activities.

47. Supervise and lend assistance to subordinates.

48. Training of subordinates and evaluating the effectiveness of training.

Handling of Sales return materials and responsible to take further action.

CALIBRATION Incharge:

1. Preparation of Master list of instruments for all locations.

2. Preparation of Calibration calendar for the year based on the master list.

3. Identify the calibration dues for the particular month.

4. Co-ordination with all functional representatives for organizing calibration, AMC and other service-related activities.

5. Implement & maintain the calibration Systems and manage the calibration of the equipments either internal or external.

6. Prepare the Lab scope and Calibration scope of the laboratory.

7. Control of records and standards related to calibration.

8. Review the adequacy of the laboratory equipment facilities.

9. Select & review the capability of external calibration / service agencies to perform their job correctly with traceable to the relevant standard.

INSPECTOR:

1. Preparation of a quality plan for packing materials.

2. Inspect the incoming and final product as per the QAP and approval given to production

3. Handling and Maintenance of instruments and equipment, including safety of equipment.

4. Maintain the inspection records and test report provide to customer

5. Take responsibility in the absence of the respective Inspectors.

6. Maintain good House keeping.

7. Authorized to stop production, if any deviation observed in the product (As per quality plan)

8. Authorized to issue approvals for incoming and finished products in the absence of QA incharge

9. Implementation of Quality Management System and Environmental Management System.

10. Authorized to delegate responsibility and authority to subordinates.

11. Coordinate with incharge QA for customer complaints redressal activities.

12. Organize the consumables and other accessories needed for Inspection.

13. Organize external testing for Raw material and finished product.

14. Issuing test report for finished product.

15. Identify the infrastructure needed for the Laboratory.
