About The Role :. Exp :6+ years of experience in a similar role. Education :BSc in Software Engineering or Similar. Primary Responsibilities. Designing, developing, and maintaining automated test scripts using testing frameworks like Cypress, Selenium, Appium, TestNG and JUnit. Execute automated tests and report defects. Analyse test results and identify areas for improvement in IoT systems. Integrate automated tests into the CI/CD pipeline for IoT systems. Implementing test scripts for functional testing, regression testing, and integration testing to ensure the quality and reliability of web applications. Perform automated and user testing of the application at all stages of development. Implement automated tests for IoT devices, including firmware, hardware, and communication protocols. Work closely with developers to reproduce and resolve issues, specifically in IoT contexts. Identify, document, and track bugs using bug tracking tools like JIRA. Perform testing activities involved with End-to-End testing, System Testing and UAT testing. Develop test plan and test strategies for our applications. Provide product training internally to staff on the developed web applications. Be the point of contact for in-house staff regarding web application related queries. Technical Knowledge. Proficient in software testing methodologies and best practices. Proficiency with programming language, such as JavaScript, NodeJS, NoSQL and SQL. Proficient with automation testing tools such as Cypress, Selenium, Appium, JUnit, and TestNG. Proficient with API testing tools such as REST Assured, RestSharp or jMeter. Proficient with mobile application testing tools for Android, iOS and cross platform. Excellent understanding of software. (ref:hirist.tech).
