We are seeking a passionate and skilled Test Automation Engineer with 2-5 years of experience to join our dynamic QA team. In this role, you'll play a critical part in ensuring the quality and reliability of our customers" products. You'll leverage tools like Selenium, Appium, and Rest Assured while collaborating with cross-functional teams to design, develop, and execute automated tests. If you have a knack for both manual and automated testing and a drive to innovate in the testing space, we'd love to hear from you! **Key Responsibilities:** - Develop and maintain automated test scripts using Selenium, Appium, and Rest Assured. - Execute automated test cases, analyze results, and document findings. - Enhance and refine test automation frameworks. - Stay updated with the latest trends and practices in test automation. - Perform manual testing when needed to validate functionality and performance. - Identify, document, and track software defects and issues. - Collaborate with development teams to ensure testability of requirements. - Design and execute comprehensive test scenarios and cases using diverse methodologies. **Required Skills:** - Education: BE/BTech in Computer Science, Engineering (Computer/Electronics/Electrical), MCA, or MS. - Experience: 2-5 years in Test Automation and Quality Engineering. - Proficiency with Selenium and Appium for UI testing on web and mobile applications. - Strong understanding of Selenium/Appium Architecture, Page Object Model, and Page Factory Design. - Familiarity with tools like TFS, GitHub, Jenkins, and Azure DevOps for CI/CD. - Proficiency in Java, including OOPS concepts, exception handling, and collection frameworks. - Experience with databases (e.g., MSSQL, PostgreSQL, MongoDB) and API testing using Rest Assured. - Basic knowledge of BDD concepts with Cucumber. - Strong communication, collaboration, and time-management skills. **What Will Set You Apart:** - Certifications: ISTQB Foundation/Expert Level, Scrum Master Certification. - Experience in the Energy & Utilities domain (Electric, Solar, Gas, Water services). - Advanced API testing skills using tools like Postman, SoapUI, or Swagger. - Understanding of database integrations and advanced SQL concepts. - Strategic thinking with a customer-first approach. - Quick adaptability to new technologies and platforms.
