Role Overview: As a Senior QA Automation Engineer, you will play a crucial role in leading automation testing efforts for our software applications. Your responsibilities will include developing and executing automated test scripts, designing robust test frameworks, and ensuring the highest quality of our products. Collaboration with cross-functional teams to enhance automation infrastructure and drive best practices in test automation will also be a key aspect of your role. Key Responsibilities: - Develop and execute automated test scripts for UI and API testing. - Design, implement, and maintain automation frameworks using Java or C#. - Create Behavior-Driven Development (BDD) frameworks using tools like Cucumber or SpecFlow. - Automate API testing using Rest Assured. - Design and implement test strategies, test plans, and test cases to maintain software quality. - Conduct performance testing using JMeter. - Utilize Git and Jenkins for version control and continuous integration/continuous deployment (CI/CD). - Ensure best coding practices for reusability, scalability, and maintainability in test automation. - Collaborate with stakeholders to prioritize testing requirements. - Monitor, analyze, and report test automation results. - Work in an Agile environment, participating in Scrum ceremonies. - Continuously improve automation infrastructure and explore new tools and techniques. Qualification Required: - 6+ years of experience in QA Automation with a strong focus on UI and API automation. - Proficiency in automation frameworks using Java or C#. - Experience in developing BDD frameworks like Cucumber or SpecFlow. - Hands-on experience with API automation using Rest Assured. - Strong knowledge of test strategy, planning, and execution. - Experience with performance testing using JMeter. - Proficiency in Git, Jenkins, and CI/CD pipelines. - Understanding of best practices for software development, including code reusability, scalability, and maintainability. - Ability to collaborate with stakeholders and work effectively in an Agile environment.
