Quality Assurance Analyst

As a meticulous and detail-oriented Quality Assurance (QA) Analyst, your role involves ensuring the highest standards of quality for application products. In addition to testing our own application, you will also be responsible for testing other dating apps. Key Responsibilities: - Develop, implement, and maintain test plans, test cases, and test scripts. - Execute manual and automated tests to identify software defects. - Collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand product requirements and design appropriate test plans. - Ensure the quality of the application by conducting thorough and accurate testing. - Identify, document, and track bugs and issues using tracking systems like JIRA. - Validate that the software meets established standards and criteria. - Continuously review and improve QA processes to enhance efficiency and effectiveness. - Participate in root cause analysis for defects and recommend solutions. - Work closely with developers, product managers, and other stakeholders to understand requirements, design test plans, and provide feedback. - Participate in daily stand-ups, sprint planning, and retrospectives. - Document test results and maintain comprehensive records of test procedures and outcomes. - Provide clear and concise reports on testing progress, results, and any identified issues. - Be open to using dating apps as part of the testing process to ensure functionality and user experience. Qualifications: - Bachelors degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field (or equivalent experience). - Proven experience as a QA Analyst or similar role in software development. - Experience with automated testing tools (e.g., Selenium, QTP). - Familiarity with Agile development methodologies. - Strong analytical and problem-solving skills. - Excellent attention to detail. - Proficiency in using test management and bug tracking tools. - Ability to write clear, concise, and comprehensive test plans and test cases. - Strong communication skills, both written and verbal. - Knowledge of SQL and scripting.
