Position Summary
GLG's Quality Assurance team within the Technology business is seeking a
QA Automation Engineer / Analyst
to design, develop, and execute automated and manual test cases across multiple software applications. This role combines strong analytical skills in understanding requirements with hands-on automation capabilities to ensure robust functional and regression testing.The ideal candidate will have experience working on CRM or web-based applications (preferably Salesforce), with a strong focus on automation and change control alignment within the SDLC.
Position Responsibilities Include (but Are Not Limited To)
- Analyze user stories, business requirements, and acceptance criteria to create detailed test scenarios and test scripts.
- Develop and maintain automated test cases using frameworks such as Selenium (Java/Python), Playwright, or Cypress.
- Perform functional, regression, integration, and assist UAT testing across web and CRM platforms.
- Execute API automation using tools such as Postman or REST Assured.
- Maintain and execute automation suites as part of the CI/CD pipeline.
- Log and track defects using JIRA, ServiceNow, or Azure DevOps, and support root cause analysis.
- Review and validate change requests (CRs) for quality and test completeness within the Change Management process.
- Provide QA evidence and participate in CAB discussions and post-implementation reviews (PIRs).
- Contribute to framework enhancement, test data management, and regression suite optimization.
- Collaborate with QA Leads, Developers, and Release Managers to ensure smooth, high-quality releases
Position Requirements
- 35 years of experience in software QA with strong exposure to test automation and functional testing.
- Proficiency in automation scripting using Selenium (Java/Python), Cypress, or equivalent.
- Working knowledge of API testing and automation (Postman, REST Assured).
- Experience with CI/CD tools such as GitHub Actions, Jenkins, or Azure DevOps.
- Familiarity with test management tools (TestRail, Zephyr) and version control (Git).
- Experience in Change Management or audit-driven environments
- Excellent analytical, organizational, and communication skills.
Preferred Qualifications
- ISTQB Foundation or Automation Testing certification.
- Prior experience in Agile/Scrum
- Exposure to Salesforce testing or similar CRM systems.
