Job Description

Role & responsibilities

Quality Management Systems (QMS):

Develop, implement, and maintain QMS in accordance with ISO 9001, ISO 14001, ISO 45001, and other applicable standards.
Ensure compliance with customer specifications, regulatory standards (e.g., REACH, RoHS), and internal quality procedures.
Prepare and revise SOPs, quality manuals, and validation protocols.
Coordinate internal and external audits (ISO, customer, regulatory) and drive timely closure of audit findings.

2. Process & Product Quality:

Monitor and improve quality control parameters in coordination with production and R&D.
Manage QA documentation for raw materials, in-process, and finished goods.
Lead root cause analysis (RCA) and corrective/preventive actions (CAPA) for quality issues.
Conduct process capability analysis and implement Statistical Process Control (SPC).

3. Compliance & Risk Management:

Ensure adherence to EHS and regulatory requirements relevant to chemical manufacturing.
Maintain MSDS, technical data sheets, and labeling compliance for hazardous chemicals.

4. Team Management & Training:

Lead and mentor QA team members, ensuring skill development and performance tracking.
Conduct training sessions for quality awareness, GMP practices, and regulatory updates.

5. Continuous Improvement:

Identify opportunities for quality and process improvement through Six Sigma, Kaizen, or Lean tools.
Support new product development from a QA perspective (first-time quality, validation protocols, etc.).

Preferred candidate profile

Experience:
812 years in Quality Assurance in the chemical or process industry.
Strong understanding of ISO, GMP, and chemical regulatory requirements.
