Quality Associate

Requirements:

1. Deep understanding of GDC fundamentals including mold design, metal flow, solidification, casting defects, etc.

2. Minimum 8–10 years’ experience in QA/QC in a foundry environment (preferably aluminum or non-ferrous GDC).

3. Proficiency in 7 QC tools, PFMEA, Control Plans, MSA (Measurement System Analysis), and SPC.

4. Ability to identify, analyze, and resolve casting defects like porosity, shrinkage, cold shut, etc.

5. Knowledge of Non-Destructive Testing (Dye Penetrant, X-ray) and use of CMM, Vernier, gauges, etc.

6. Familiar with IATF 16949, ISO 9001, and customer-specific requirements (e.g., PPAP, APQP).

7. Experience in handling customer audits, complaints, and implementation of Corrective and Preventive Actions.

8. Conducting internal audits, driving continual improvement, and leading Kaizen/5S/QCC activities.

9. Capable of managing QA/QC teams, training inspectors, and setting departmental KPIs.

10. Well-versed in documentation practices like Control Plans, Process Flow Charts, Work Instructions, and MIS reporting

11. RBA analysis

12. Knowledge about ISO9001 & IATF audit

13. Knowledge about ISO14001 & ISO 45001
