Quality Architect

Role Overview: You are expected to have at least 8 years of experience in software quality assurance and testing, with a strong focus on QA Automation architecture and engineering in agile environments. Your role will involve building Test Automation frameworks, establishing and enforcing standards for high quality, maintainability, and reusability of source code components, libraries, and solutions. Additionally, you will provide technical leadership to junior team members and enable them to be effective and successful. You should be proficient in Java and have extensive knowledge of Web Services technologies such as Rest, OpenAPI, WSDL, SOAP, OAuth, as well as Open Source and 3rd party libraries. Your automation skills should include tools like Selenium, Lambda Test, SauceLabs, Ready API/Postman, and Java/JavaScript based test automation. Key Responsibilities: - Expertise in Cypress or Playwright Framework with Typescript for testing, framework development, and automation. - Above average Programming skills in Python, Core Java, Selenium for automation scripting. - Hands-on experience with AWS services (e.g., EC2, S3) for cloud-based testing environments. - Proficiency in Java for testing, framework development, and automation. - Experience with CI/CD tools and processes (e.g., Jenkins, Harness) to automate testing and integrate with build and deployment pipelines. - Proven experience with Docker for using containerised environments to run tests. - Hands-on expertise with SoapUI for API and web services testing. - Experience in using LambdaTest for automated cross-browser and cross-device testing. - Proven expertise in creating and managing test environments using Ansible for automation and configuration management. - Experience with cloud-native architectures and managing tests in Kubernetes. - Strong knowledge of test case design, debugging, and troubleshooting in distributed systems. - Understanding of test metrics and reporting techniques to communicate testing results effectively. Qualification Required: - Basic experience with code coverage analysis and reporting using SonarQube to ensure high-quality, test-driven development. - Familiarity with Generative AI (GenAI) testing techniques, including evaluating AI/ML models and tools for QA purposes. - Exposure to AI and machine learning principles as they relate to test automation. - Ability to drive automation initiatives and promote a culture of continuous improvement.
