Quality Analyst - SBI Securities

Role & responsibilities : Execute manual testing procedures on fintech applications to ensure functionality, usability, and compliance with industry standards. Collaborate closely with cross-functional teams to comprehend product requirements and specifications. Develop and execute comprehensive manual test plans, test cases, and test scripts. Perform thorough regression testing to identify and document potential issues in new releases. Document and communicate defects effectively, working closely with development teams for resolution. Contribute to the enhancement of manual testing processes and methodologies. Stay informed about fintech industry trends and ensure manual testing practices align with best practices. Preferred candidate profile : Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, IT, Engineering, or a related field. Proven experience in manual QA/testing, specifically in fintech or financial software products. Solid understanding of Onboarding, financial systems, transactions, and regulatory requirements. Proficient in creating and executing manual test cases, test scenarios, and test scripts. Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with a meticulous attention to detail. Effective communication skills to articulate testing results and collaborate with the development team. Familiarity with testing methodologies and best practices in a manual testing environment. Relevant certifications in manual testing or quality assurance. Knowledge of compliance standards within the Onboarding Journey. Experience with issue tracking tools and test management systems. Understanding of agile development methodologies in a manual testing context.
