Quality Analyst / Automation Tester

Role Overview: As a Quality Analyst / Automation Tester with at least 10-12 years of experience, you will operate at Squad level and provide an oversight of the quality of Squad deliverables. Your main responsibility will be to test new features with an end-to-end business view to ensure that the business outcome is fit for purpose. You will evangelize test automation tools and implement them wherever possible to achieve regression testing. Additionally, you will be driving the test environment setup and test data creation with a deep functional understanding of the business. Key Responsibilities: - Implement a test management process within Websites and Mobile Area of work. - Write test cases based on user story acceptance criteria and business outcomes of the squad. - Conduct testing activities, analyze and record test results, and verify corrections. - Collaborate with other Squad team members to ensure defects are resolved. - Support the usage of Test management (MF ALM) and Test execution tools. - Report progress/update Agile team management tools (JIRA/Confluence). - Govern quality through the SDLC lifecycle and create Test Automation Strategy & Roadmap for Squads. - Design, develop, and maintain automation scripts. - Attend Squad ceremonies e.g. daily stand-up meeting. - Perform quality reviews of deliverables produced by the squad members. Qualifications Required: - Expertise in Banking/Finance Domain and Functional test preparation & execution with a minimum of 8 years of experience. - Hands-on experience with Test Management/test planning activities, designing test cases, user story/script creation, and execution. - Knowledge and experience with successful multi-disciplinary, self-organized teams & techniques. - Hands-on experience with testing automation frameworks and tools. - Familiarity with ALM test management tools and Agile Team management tools (JIRA, Confluence). - Hands-on experience with Selenium, Appium. - Excellent communication skills: ability to translate complex business processes and technical designs and concerns into easy-to-understand language.
