Job Description

QMS Implementation & Maintenance

Ensure compliance with ISO 9001:2015 requirements across all departments.
Assist in preparing, reviewing, and controlling QMS documentation (SOPs, Work Instructions, Formats, Manuals).
Coordinate Internal Audits, Management Review Meetings (MRM), and facilitate closure of NCs (non-conformities).
Monitor effectiveness of processes and recommend improvements.

Regulatory & Customer Compliance

Coordinate for third-party/customer audits and certifications.
Maintain records of customer complaints, corrective actions, and improvements.

Risk & Opportunity Management

Assist in identifying internal/external issues, risks, and opportunities related to the QMS.
Support in mitigation plans and tracking effectiveness.

Training & Awareness

Conduct QMS awareness sessions for shop floor and staff.
Ensure all employees are trained on SOPs/work instructions.

Reporting

Prepare QMS performance reports for management.
Track KPIs such as rejection %, customer complaints, customer satisfaction, on-time delivery.

Skill

Strong knowledge of QMS documentation & auditing.
Analytical & problem-solving skills.
Proficiency in MS Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint).
Good communication (written & verbal).
Planning & coordination ability.
Ability to work with cross-functional teams (Production, QC, Maintenance, Stores).

Knowledge

ISO 9001:2015 standard (mandatory).
Indian Standards (IS 4985, IS 13592, IS 12701, IS 14333, IS 15428 etc. for PVC Pipes, Fittings, Tanks, and Sanitaryware).
Quality control methods: Hydrostatic test, Impact test, Tensile test, MFI test, Pressure test, Drop test, etc.
Document control & record management.
Root Cause Analysis tools (5 Why, Fishbone, CAPA methodology).
