Job Description

As a QC (Quality Control) Coordinator, your primary responsibility will be to plan and schedule QC activities in a strategic manner to meet customer delivery timelines as per the Purchase Order (PO) shipment deadlines. This involves developing and maintaining QC schedules, coordinating with third-party vendors and suppliers for production progress tracking, and ensuring timely quality checks for bulk orders. You will be required to conduct daily team meetings with QC team members to review ongoing inspections, identify operational challenges, and implement timely solutions for maintaining consistent product quality. Additionally, you will arrange and supervise QC processes based on approved QC specification sheets, ensuring adherence to product specifications, measurement guidelines, plating standards, and stone settings. Collaboration with the merchandising team is essential to align on order priorities, specification changes, or special client requirements impacting QC. Moreover, accurate and timely submission of QC reports as per company guidelines, maintaining inspection records, and prioritizing QC tasks effectively are crucial aspects of this role. Your coordination with the data team is vital to ensure the timely submission of QC data and correct capturing of relevant information in QC documentation. Maintaining the accuracy and completeness of QC specification data, reviewing team QC specs periodically, and providing guidance for maintaining high standards across all QC documentation are key duties. In addition to the above responsibilities, the ideal candidate for this role must possess a strong attention to detail and aesthetic judgment, particularly in fine jewelry. Excellent communication and leadership skills are required to effectively manage and guide QC teams. Willingness to travel frequently to vendors, proficiency in using quality control tools and inspection instruments, as well as knowledge of Microsoft Excel for data analysis and reporting are essential skills for this position. This is a full-time, permanent position with benefits including health insurance, leave encashment, and paid sick time. The work schedule is a day shift, and the work location is in person.,
